Christmas.

We have been very busy at school getting ready for Christmas. Christmas is our favourite time! We have learned lots of new songs like Rudolph the red nose reindeer,Stocaí beaga bána,Here comes Santa Claus and a poem about a Santa who is very shy! We painted Rudolph in Art and we learned lots about reindeer for our biodiversity day. Reindeer are very good swimmers and their antlers fall off in Winter. Some people hunt reindeer which is not very nice.

We are taking part in a school play. It's the story of Christmas. We are playing the part of the donkey. We have learned a song called Little Donkey.The donkey brought Mary and Joseph safely to Bethlehem. We will be going to the halla to perform our play.We are very excited! Happy Christmas everyone!
