Mission Statement

Mission Statement Faha National School is a co-educational, Catholic, primary school which recognises that all children are gifted and all the children in our care are cherished equally.

Our aim is to help them to realise their full potential personally, spiritually, socially, culturally and intellectually by endeavouring to provide a well-ordered, caring, happy and secure atmosphere.

We aspire to help them appreciate their own strengths and weaknesses, to be confident, well balanced, informed individuals, open to diversity with a strong sense of tolerance and compassion for those who are greater or lesser than themselves.

While Faha National School is a school with a Catholic ethos, it also has due recognition for all other religions. We will strive to promote, both individually and collectively, the professional and personal development of teachers through staff development programmes.

Faha National School will encourage the involvement of parents through home/school contacts and through their involvement in the Faha Parents Association. Our school motto is Ní neart go cur le céile.
