The very best of luck to Mrs. Knightly & our debating team who will be proposing the motion 'we are not doing enough to end food waste' on Monday February 24th.

Olympians visit

We had a visit from 2 atheletes who are due to take part in the Paralympic Games in Tokyo next August! Jordan Lee from Killarney is part of the Irish team and will be competing in the high jump. His highest jump to date is 6ft 4 which is very impressive indeed! Jordan brought his bronze medal from the 2019 European championships and passed it round for everyone to see. His motto is '100% or nothing'. Madison Wilson is a Canadian athelete who will be competing in the long jump. Her motto is 'never say can't'. Madison brought her running blades for the boys & girls to see. Both atheletes were inspiring and they hosted an Q&A session at the end. Everyone in Faha N.S. wishes them both every success in Tokyo!

Cycle Safe

Well done to 6th class who recently completed the Cycle Safe programme. They learned important cycle skills & safety including the rules of the road! We wish them all happy & safe travels on their bikes.

Shoebox appeal

Our annual Christmas Shoebox appeal was a roaring success again this year. Well done and thanks to everyone who donated. All shoeboxes have gone to needy families in Africa. Our grand total was 110 shoeboxes!
